Most paint suppliers no longer send purchase prices from the scales, but simply the list price of the weighed products.

To compensate this, go to System-> General Settings and search for SCALE_MARGIN_FACTOR (category "external links").

By default, this value is 1.  But if you want for example a margin of 25% then change that 1 to 1.25
